Nene Suspended For Game 4 of Chicago vs Washington Series

WASHINGTON, D.C.  It was announced yesterday by the league office that as a result of the altercation involving Washington's Nene and Chicago's Jimmy Butler, Nene will be suspended for Game 4 in Washington.

In this hotly contested series, Nene's suspension will tip the scales in Chicago's favor to tie the series at 2-2 before returning the series to the United Center in Chicago for Game 5.

Nene's actions in Game 3 earned him a suspension for Game 4 from the league office.
Nene has been a beast for the Wizards, giving Washington the size up front to match up with Chicago's long bigs.

In addition, Nene has been the man left open due to defensive rotations, and in Games 1 and 2, he had been feasting on the open 15' to 18' jumpers to the tune of 20.5 PPG on a gaudy 63% shooting. The Bulls were able to frustrate Nene in Game 3, allowing him only 10 points on 33% shooting before he was tossed midway through the 4th quarter.

Washington will likely start Trevor Booker at the PF in place of Nene.
