Lebron Questionable For Today's Bulls vs. Heat Match-up

MIAMI, FL.  Lebron or no Lebron.

Both LBJ and Jimmy Buckets may be out for today's CHI vs MIA match-up.
That may be one wrinkle in the Bulls vs. Heat recent rivalry that we haven't yet seen.

The Bulls have put up more than a fight without their MVP, Derrick Rose, including one of the truely gutsy performances ever seen when the undermanned Chicago Bulls ended the Miami Heat's second longest undefeated streak NBA history at 27 games.

However, the Bulls vs. Heat rivalry of recent history has never had a chapter that didn't have Lebron James cast as the Bulls' major nemesis.

After spurning superstardom in Chicago that could have rivaled Jordan's in order to join with fellow superfriends Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami to get their rings the easy way, James remains one of the most hated sports celebrities in Chicago.

Ending the Miami Heat's streak was a great highlight for Bulls' fans, who have been dealt disappointment after disappointment over the last three seasons. While Miami went to the NBA Finals each season, two season ending knee injuries have prevented the Chicago Bulls from fielding their best team for the playoffs.

For today's contest, the Bulls may have another major piece of their team missing in addition to Derrick Rose:  Jimmy Butler.

Lebron-stopper Jimmy Butler makes the Chicago Bulls better, but may not play due to injury.
Butler reportedly bruised his ribs on a circus shot during Friday's rout of the Denver Nuggets.

Butler, in the absence of Luol Deng, is the man slated as the Lebron-stopper. He has statistically been the most effective player in history at defending Lebron James, and regardless of whether Lebron is in the lineup, the Bulls are a less talented and less deep team without Butler.

As always, Tom Thibodeau will no doubt answer any question about the Bulls' injury situation with the simple comment that the Bulls will have enough to win.

Will Lebron and Butler play? Who will win the game? Tell us in the comments below!
