Did Joakim Noah Recruit Carmelo Anthony To Chicago Bulls?

ESPN's Chris Broussard reports that Joakim Noah did have a conversation with Carmelo Anthony about coming to the Chicago Bulls.

According to Chris Broussard's sources, Joakim Noah recruited Carmelo Anthony to Chicago Bulls if he wanted to win an NBA Championship.
Noah is a champion, having won two National Championships with the University of Florida. Melo also has the experience of leading a team, the Syracuse Orangemen, to a National Championship.

Joakim Noah is a winner. So, speaking winner to winner, JoNo allegedly said that Carmelo could go to the Lakers, but if he wanted to win an NBA Championship, he should come to Chicago.

Joakim Noah is the unquestioned emotional leader of the Chicago Bulls, but as of late, he has had to step up and be the Chicago Bulls' All-Star, and their superstar.

He has really stepped up, putting up 3 triple-doubles in the last month, 2 in the last three games, including a 10 pts, 11 reb, 11 ast effort in a win at Detroit last night. Joakim Noah has 6 career triple-doubles.

Noah's efforts have powered the Chicago Bulls to one of the best records in the NBA since the All-Star Break. Could a talk with Carmelo Anthony have given him a little more spring in his step?

In the conversation, which began with Melo asking about what it was like to play for Tom Thibodeau, Melo's response was intriguing. He said that he admired the heart and effort with which the Chicago Bulls played.

He also stated that Derrick Rose was his son's favorite player.

Here is the rest of Chris Broussard's report:
